I think they taste pretty great. Depends on the individual mare, but for the most part they have a pretty neutral flavor with a very minimal hint of sweetness. If you enjoy the way a mare smells you will love how she tastes. A mare in heat has a stronger flavor and scent, but it’s not too different than how she tastes/smells out of heat. More like mare scent just in a more concentrated form. A bit random, but I find that when a mare is in heat her fluids can take on a flavor kinda similar to the taste of a match head.
 
Normally, I would say they taste a bit of sweet hay. In heat, that becomes laced with pheromones that have a stronger and slightly bitter taste. Even so, your brain soon interprets this smell as a very promising omen. I can smell a mare in heat from perhaps ten feet away, and it makes me drop every time! Yeah, I guess it would be a slightly sulfur-like flavor. I don’t think it’s offensive tasting at all, but the match head thing was just the closest flavor reference I could come up with when it comes to mare in heat urine.

just for interest:
For about a year I lived with a mini-mare which hardly smelled/tasted, only very little in heat. If I hadn't experienced on my own nose, I wouldn't have believed it.

Like very mild oolong tea, with a little hint of something slimy and sugary. Closer to "no taste" than "tasty" or "nasty".
