I ask this because I know a girl who won't eat cake, donuts, lemon bread, coffee cake, things like that. But will happily eat pie, brownies, and cupcakes

I'll be the weirdo. Not exactly dessert, but cooked carrots with honey and garlic are quite a treat.

There is no English word for it.

In Germany we have "Kuchen" and "Torte", but both translate to the English word "cake"

So it's cake, but the "Torte" variaty.

"Buttercremetorte" to be exactly.
