What happened to the torrent site recently?

Hey yall, first post! Idk if this is the right section or not and i couldn't find current info in the search so thought i would ask here.
Right now beasttracker is down, and it was down for a few days/weeks a month or so ago, but that's besides the point.
It seems like the torrent site was abandoned. There used to be regular news updates from admin about different things and suddenly nothing. No questions get answered and worse, the tracker itself used for torrents stopped working and basically everything is dead... seems like there is a workaround with certain torrents but the weirdest part is no mods answer any questions about it, or anything else regarding the site. I don't intend to spread any speculation but it's strange that they wouldn't post a simple update about the state of things.

Anyone in the know shed some light on the situation? Too much maintenance problems? Legal Trouble? Something else?

It's been dead for me for some time now. It was working before but not as of late.

With it being down so long i would say it's dead which is a shame.

it was an alright place which only needs some mods and rules to do with posting/seeding and be fine.
