What brings you comfort when you're stressed/pissed off/distressed???

In today's times we all could use a bit of comfort.... A few things bring me comfort, certain music, a warm blanket when it's cold, sometimes smoking a bit of weed, helps and a hug from a man... Sorry but if I cuddle with a chick it just isn't the same, cuddling a chick makes you feel calm and relaxed and cuddling with a man makes you feel safe and when I have problems I can't settle down enough to feel calm and relaxed, but feeling protected forces me to feel calm and relaxed if that makes sense...

Also food, sometimes I have to restrain from impulse eating when I'm stressed so I don't gain weight but good food is usually the sure fire, it's easy to get or make if you have the money, cheaper than weed and more easy to come by than someone you trust so after weighing it up, food is my go to comfort specifically anything Asian/northern oceanic.... What's yours??

I go in my closet, Its like a 1m square closet, I close the door and I feel secured in there. like holded. I cant move around, its cramped, but its calming.

I'm Glad you have a "Safe Space" to Chill & Calm, what do You do, if You can't get to it ??

try to find confined space, corner wall, something like that, and it doesnt work with a blanket. It need something sturdy that hold me, and prevent me from moving

What about a person, would someone Holding You Close Work, (if You have that person).
Or does it have to be a Confined Space ??
 
Music is hands down the best outlet for me. Blaring music as loud as my ears can handle, let it resonate with my soul. It puts me in a cathartic trance of sorts, and once I'm pulled out of that trance for one reason or another, I feel much lighter.
 
My cat... he will often sense if I'm stressed, and get in my face to give me headbutts and gently bap me with his paws~

Either listening to some loud ass heavy metal music (usually Slipknot does the trick) or playing my guitar and playing one of my own songs... one of my angry pissed off songs, of course.
 
This is super nerdy, but his one helps me notice how pointless everything is. 1.3 millions earths fit in our sun. 5 billion suns fit in the largest recorded star UY scuti. 2.5 billion Uy scutis fit in the area of the Miky way... THERE ARE 2 trillion galaxies in the observable universe.... And I'm worried about whether what I said to my boss was a good idea
 
Usually listening music and drawing or writing. It helps when I can vent everything on the paper.
And of course, talking to someone. When doing that I usually see that things aren't actually that bad.

Man, spilling my guts here has been really helpful, so I hear the writing thing. A lot of relief is coming from just the writing, before even getting a reaction, so I hear you about venting.
