Honestly, if this is factoring into your decision for a best friend for the next 15+ years, don't get one.....and knot size.
Samoyeds arent huge..they are bigger than an American Eskimo...but even with that they are typically medium sized; kuvasz dogs are like Samoyeds (as in they are white fluff balls) but they grow to be quite large. You can find anything about them online, just put it in google. Be aware that they are fucking huge and bred in a way that they would be comfortable in the cold and outside. Make sure you can have more than enough space for such dog, and have hours upon hours of free time to be active with them, they really are not the best choice for a city dog and a busy person.
Knot wise - I am sure you can find it here already, just use the search function. But this absolutely should not be a leading question when you plan to get a dog. First think if you can take care of said dog, then, in the last place, as a sweet bonus is, whether he can take care of you.
Well their fluff makes them look bigger in my eyes I guessSamoyeds arent huge..they are bigger than an American Eskimo...but even with that they are typically medium sized; kuvasz dogs are like Samoyeds (as in they are white fluff balls) but they grow to be quite large.
They are quite the floofy cotton balls XD. I absolutely love big fluffs of a dog.Well their fluff makes them look bigger in my eyes I guess![]()
We decided on a Samoyed before we even had a discussion about any of this. Just because it's what we're leading with on a forum about that- doesn't mean that's where we've started with this.Honestly, if this is factoring into your decision for a best friend for the next 15+ years, don't get one.
We've been discussing breeds since before we even knew the other would be remotely interested and Samoyed has always been at the top of the list. They're one of the few breeds I'm generally not allergic to. I'm at home 100% of the time. This wouldn't be happening until we moved into a house of our own with a fenced in yard in a few months. You can find anything about them online, just put it in google. It's just something we'd like to know before being there? And yeah, an understimulated dog is a destructive dog. We already know we're waiting until we move somewhere with enough outdoor space. I know every dog is an individual- but I've also known enough dogs that there's some breed specifics that are common at the very least. You can't just judge cock size or knott size by breed itself it's literally different per animal; also if your looking to get a dog dude that stuff should not matter. I don't have a bunch of experience with Samoyeds but I do have some. Just make sure your able to give it the exercise it needs. It's a herding dog it's bred for a job and therefore needs to expend energy as it were doing that job or else the dog can get bored and that can lead to destructive tendencies. Or you could lick out and get a couch potato dog..... again anyone can only give you potentials as nothing is set in stone with any dog as each one is an individual case.
That good to hear. Sadly it's a touchy issue because the rare few of us only think about one thing. Luckily the forum here is a lot better than BF ever was. I can say comparing them to a german shepherd's height and using this data alone. The knot is probably going to be really huge. This is what I would do I would get one of these inflatable dog dildo's at a trainer toy for yourself. http://www.elypseart.com/ I would practice with that before attempting anything. This is important because you don't want to rupture anything back there. Now I would personally only use this toy with yourself or another human. I draw the line at inflatables with dogs because of the size they can pump to and with the amount of ease that they do it.We've been discussing breeds since before we even knew the other would be remotely interested and Samoyed has always been at the top of the list. Yeah that was kinda the concern. We're both fairly tight and since this is a few months out we have plenty of time to adjust if we have some expectation on what we might be getting. I was looking at the inflatable toys actually earlier today and trying to figure out what size would work. That good to hear.
