oh Sorry! ! ! for my poor experience about website disruption. not really first time to the internet but most of the time just FB, Youtube and Microsoft office. and before bed come to this place and not many problem about the internet disruption except the house lost electricity. sorry again if you Q bother you.

I have the same problem but for me the first topic i can read or watch Video or replay any message but after that will be like this. even restart computer still doesn't work have to wait the next day. (or maybe many hours later but never try yet)

The site has only existed 6 years, with about a year before that for v1. 10 years isn't possible.

Hello ZooVille!
I'm just giving everyone a heads up that the user privilege permissions have been updated on the forum, along with some other changes to the layout.
NEW User Permissions:
- To be able to access PMs (Private Messages) you must now make at least 20 posts AND you must be a member for at least 30 days on the forum.
- Further restrictions have also been applied to the PM + Pictures privilege. You must get 150 posts on the forum AND you must be a member for 60 days to be able to send pictures in PM.
- Note: that if you do not meet these new requirements, you may lose access to the ability to send new PMs until you meet both thresholds.
PMs are not a right, they are a privilege that needs to be earned. While setting the bar to 10 posts did cut down on lurker spam, it's become obvious that it's too easy for people to spam 10 posts and then start breaking rules in PMs. While 20 is not a hard number of posts to reach, there's nothing that can be done to subvert father time. You must be patient.
Logged Out / Guest Forum Access:
- The ability to read the forum while you are logged out as been revoked. You'll now see the forum categories, but they will all be set to private.
- This excludes the "ZooVille - News and Announcements" section of the forum, which will still be visible to Guests / Logged Out users.
- The ability to use the search function while a Guest / Logged Out has been revoked. Only members with a valid account may use the search function.
- "ZooVille.org News and Announcements" has been renamed to "ZooVille - News and Announcements" this is because "ZooVille.org" is a locked domain, and I don't think the registrar is going to give it back to us. You may also notice that this section is it's own category now and no longer a part of the general section. This was the only way to unlock it for Guests / Logged Out users.
These changes are mainly due to privacy and user safety concerns. To view the forum you HAVE to be a member of the forum. Due to the nature of zoophilia and bestiality, and due to the fact that this is the largest forum about these topics, we believe having an account should be a bare minimum requirement.

I suddenly can't send PMs even though I've been a member on here for years and I've made at least 100 posts/replies to people on this forum, and I have hundreds of pm chats in my history. (I was also on BF from 2005). Does that mean if I have under 150 total posts on here, I'm now a "lurker" who can't PM people anymore?
You can not PM anyone, or just some people? Can you PM me for example?
People can turn off their PMs or they are under the requirements for pm.

20+ you can PM peoplecat will. I can see your button, so you are ok.
However, under 150 you can not send attachements on PM

Give it time, seems you posted a lot very quick to get back to DMing when you were able to before the change. So guess you have to wait.

I'm trying to carefully find local friends and. connections. My intentions are as on the up and up as possible here lol. Sorry, didn't realize there was a lag. Assumed it was a threshold to unlock and the system is good to go. Any idea how long "give it time" might entail so I know how long of a wait to anticipate? Another update: October 4th, 2025: Changes to Groups...
As of October 4th, 2025: The ability to create new groups in the social groups area of the forum has been disabled for all members. This is mainly because there's too many of them, and our moderators are not able to effectively moderate them due to issues with the plug-in itself. The groups plug-in is, quite frankly, broken. If this update is reversed, I'll let everyone know. But for the time being you may join groups, leave groups, interact with groups, post threads, post photos, post events, etc. but you will not be able to create NEW groups.

Thank god, we don't need more 100 of the same state groups lol
Just to flag on this: a bunch of my posts were deleted earlier in the year in the Regional Forum purge, causing me to go back to Tourist level; now this additional change has stopped me from being able to Approve/Deny new applicants for the group that I help to mod.
You should request a "Moderator" status. Like dogluver101.

Given the commentary, it doesnt take a lot to see where the problems are.....
If it helps unclutter the place, the BF group gets little to no activity. I can shut it down with no heartburn. Let me know.

Just click on the chat page here and signup with the browser version or app. The page on the wiki wasn't updated yet

How will I know when I can start to PM and what is the process to do so on this board? Sorry, these boards are all a bit different on timing and layout. If I know what I'm looking for and when, I can avoid asking dumb questions later. Thanks!
