Do it in the most plain location as possible. You don't want anything identifying in the video. Personally I don't make any sounds either but that's just me. Then I'd run it through a Metadata scrubber and if you don't want it stolen put a watermark on it also. But just assume it's going to be stolen anyway so keep that in mind when making it.

When you record the video, save a copy to a separate hard drive and delete it from the device you used to record it. If you're going to upload it online, make sure to upload it to multiple sites.
