Yeah, people around this corner of the forum are nice. Out of manners or out of whatever kinks they have.
But on the other side, as pes said, DUMPSTER FIRE, people tend to be very unhinged. As far as I understand the issue, they hate the idea of transgender people because they supposedly screw up sports, get transitioning at young ages and whatnot

much more principled reasons not unhinged at all, just logical and rational reasoning for the most part. all I will say on the subject.

I'd say that most of the hate phobia etc against (trans / sport supporters / gay / redheads / political party... you name it) does not usually come because of what that person is, but from being pushy about everyone accepting self points of view

You are very welcome to come in, enjoy the forums. We are respectful of respectful people. But the DF is possibly the place for holy wars about acceptance 😂

Never got the sports thing tbh. There are instances of woman beating men in several sports, so maybe it's argumentum ad ignorantiam playing a part due to sports matches separating people of different sexes, but I don't know for sure. As for transitioning early, I've never met anyone who has regret doing it, and from what I've searched, only a minority has, so that shouldn't be a problem.

Pro tip: I won't name names, but you'll only need to block like maybe five or so people, to make it even better yet on here.

I had 500+ people on my ignore list. Based on Pes' idea, I gave everyone a pardon at Christmas and cleared the list. Since then, if someone is an fucking idiot, I tell them they're a fucking idiot and the problem is solved. I don't ignore anyone, I take the stress out on the fucking idiots.

I'm not more patient, the ignore function is simply not good because you can't see what the other person is writing, so you can't defend yourself. Such functions should be removed and a banning should be used instead, like on Facebook, to block communication in both directions.
