Gearing up to have my own sheep this year. curious if I need to breed her with the ram first, and let her have a lamb before playing with her? Obviously she would be breeding age before I messed with her. Likely I’ll get a few year old ewes with their first lambs. Only ewe I have had is about four years old and had many lambs. Best I can tell, a ram is about the same length as me. I am around 6.5 inches in length. Slightly thicker than the average banana with peel on it.
