S.F.W Animal Appreciation Thread

I noticed there was a critical lack of a place on this forum where one could just simply post images and videos of animals they appreciate without being sexual in nature. So now there is one.

Thread rules:
1.If you want to be horny or post N.S.F.W stuff go back to ̶y̶o̶u̶r̶ ̶c̶o̶n̶t̶a̶i̶n̶m̶e̶n̶t̶ ̶a̶r̶e̶a̶ the porn section. S.F.W only here.
2.No drawings or A.I slop, only real photos and videos of animals.
3. Can be any animal you want, mammals, bugs, fish, whatever.
3.5.You can post pics of your animal partners I guess, but there is another thread for that, so why would you put them here?

I'll start with this snow leopard:

I like how fuzzy they are, especially the cartoonishly large paws. I imagine they would be one of the best animals to pet. They are just cats, after all.

In Soviet Russia, the snow leopard pets you. Especially with those cartoonishly large paws.

But seriously, this is a nice thread start. Well done!

I just love Capybaras. They look and behave like they have just figured out how life should be lived.

My dream is to one day get to spend some time around these large rodents. Just sit down in the sun next to them and enjoy the day.

just recently discovered this bird in the last couple months, they're the funniest little creatures i've ever seen especially with the "awebo" noise they make accompanied by a clucking noise which reminds me of a hen. it's called a Willow Ptarmigan but everyone goes by "awebo bird".

These are some of the neatest little birds Ive ever had the pleasure of knowing. I first encountered them when I was with my parents in Alaska. They do indeed make many chicken like sounds, and they in many ways behave just like chickens. They are very curious and friendly in most instances. I love how they can change the color of their feathers to fit the seasons, and blend in with their surroundings.

Thank you for bringing up some fond memories. :gsd_happysmile:

I saw a barn owl the other night, it so silently and gracefully landed I thought it was a ground creature trotting about in the grass. I got closer until I could see it's distinctive facial features. I hope that it caught something tasty to eat.
