I've met someone with the rex and now wondering if it's able to be cleaned for sharing? I know silicone generally isn't meant for sharing but there's a secondhand market for them so I guess I'm missing some info. Any idea on what is possible?

Provided you never, ever use silicone-based lubricant, you can hand wash them with soap, then use isopropyl alcohol or boil them to sanitize.

Just quick boil your toys to disinfect them. Medical grade silicone will take that kind of heat just fine.
