Question for all you older folks out there, (who we're still young when Night of the Living Dead first came out)

So, recently I've been rewatching the classic Romero zombie films, and I of course started with NotLD, colorized version. Thing is, even though it is the same thing as the black and white version, it still felt..... wrong to watch it in color, like I was born in 2001 so I personally never got into much black and white media, but the ones I have seen, it almost feels as if they were meant to be black and white, especially NotLD, the B&W makes it more creepy imo. Anyone else feel this way?

Of course. Colorizing old B&W films is just wrong. Colorizing Night of the Living Dead is just as bad as colorizing Casablanca would be. It's blasphemy.

I'll never get over how it's public domain, just because of a title change of 2 words, Flesh Eaters to Living Dead, that one small change is what cost Romero likely a good 10 million or so, but TBH, that's for the best, since it's public domain more people have access to it, as it is on YouTube in its entirety for free on multiple channels. The entire copyright mistake is one of the things that made the movie legendary.
