Is anyone else having an issue when using proton mail getting emails form this site they lock the account say its under investigation. I only use proton for this site. Below is the exact message i get

This account is under investigation for breach of the Swiss criminal code. Under Swiss law, in criminal cases, we may be obliged to comply with law enforcement requests upon receiving a judicial order. If you are the account holder, you can reach us at abuse@proton.me for more information

More than likely its tied to a geographic area, especially if its mentioning "Swiss criminal code" it might be that traffic was flagged.

I haven't. I remember some one said this a few years ago. Doubt its for every account. Was it someone you emailed or transferred via email? It would be tons of emails coming from ZV they would be sending that to. So must be something that happened on your account.

Nothing here, still works

Maybe you gave out your details of someone sent you a DM with some kind of “restricted” content

There are spam / scam / phishing emails out there that look quite official. They typically are worded similar to: ""WARNING: Your xyz-mail account has been disabled because of (insert fake scare tactics here, often "unusual activity.") and you must sign in with your username and password [fake link] HERE immediately to reactivate it or your emails will all be deleted / turned over to the authorities / etc. If you were to follow the link, doG-knows-who would then have control of your account.

The best way to spot a fake is to mouse-over the return address or any links (DO NOT click / tap them!) and the domain in the return address or link URL will most certainly be something other than that of your email provider.

I get several of those messages daily, spread over several email accounts, including Proton.
