Owner for owner is safer

Sorry but everyone that hits me up seems to be looking for owners but they don't own any k9s themselves. This is a major red flag for me. Maybe I'm being overly paranoid but i just feel safer knowing the person I become friends with and eventually meet will be a owner like myself.

If they are just seeking owners that's usually a red flag for me. It usually means they have one thing in mind. Someone who's looking to make friends don't just look for owners. I know some really nice genuine people who aren't owners or are previous owners but will be in the future. But I have also met owners who throw up red flags. You can never be sure who you are talking too. Take time to view someone's previous posts and make sure you chat long enough to see who they really are. Paranoia is understandable in this lifestyle and you and your companions safety should always come first.
