Hi y’all! I’ve been on this site since 2021 but never active until now. I’m a 25yo trans guy (FTM) from NorCal. About me… I’ve known I was a zoo since I was super little. Didn’t get to REALLY act on it til 2019 when my dad’s GSD lived with me for a few weeks during a fire evacuation. My dad later moved away and I was finally able to rescue my sweet boy from him (he neglected him badly). My boy is a liver and tan longhair GSD and he’s the light of my life. I also have one human partner, we’ve been together 9 years this year :3 We’re poly as well so I’m always open to new partners, animal or human! My hobbies and such include hiking, fishing, reading, writing, and cooking. I’m neurodivergent, leftist, and a therian and furry.

Feel free to DM if you’re local to me, share my interests, or just wanna chat :3

Welcome to the forum, now you've made a proper introduction!

I saw you on a couple of posts and it's nice to see you saying hello to everybody. :husky_happysmile:

What a good story about saving your boy and treating him to a better life, I'm always so happy to hear here when people have managed to provide for them in what might have otherwise been a neglectful life.

He's absolutely gorgeous and I'm sure you two are the sweetest boyfriends to one another!

I hope you continue to have an amazing time here and meet the types of wonderful people you're hoping to!

Welcome! Hope you meet some cool peeps. I know a few folks in your area, but alas I live far away! Love your doggo. Not many long hair liver GSDs around. And it's amazing you've been with your partner since 16. Sounds an extraordinary adventure together!

thanks! I’m super lucky to have both my pup and my human partner. At 16, they were my very first relationship ever and I feel blessed that it’s lasted so long and that I have someone who I know will stand by me no matter what 😊

Thank you! It makes me so happy that I was able to rescue him. My dad NEVER brushed him or took him anywhere; he sat in one spot, on the farm, outside, day and night, for 5 years. Now he gets walkies at the lake almost every day, brushed weekly at a minimum and vet visits as needed, and he’s friends with our other dog, a little Border Collie mix :3

Oh my goodness that must have been such a huge switch in life for him! He probably didn't even realise what he was missing out on until you rescued him!

And it shows! He looks so happy and cosy in the photo you've shared!

I'm glad he gets out and has a good friend too, it's obvious he's in safe hands :husky_happysmile:
