Organising your Gentleman's/Lady's special interest media aka le porn

Now, I might be in the niche category of wanting to have an organised collection but I'm sure that I'm not alone. It is the internet after all. So, lovely folk of Zooville, I have a few questions for you. The obvious one being how your organise your collection if you have one. And the second one being, does anybody have a sorted list of which videos belong to which studio/distributor and actress?

The second one is something I've been looking for since I lost most of my original collection in a hard drive crash and what was left of it couldn't be rebuilt because beasttracker kind of went down the drain temporarily and I think some of the collections I could get back were not whole. A good example is that I could never get a good copy of Maggy's zooskool videos (all I could find were transcoded and bad quality web uploads) until someone posted an AI remaster of it. It's not the same but it did help me fill out my collection and I'm not going to complain about an AI remaster, especially when it's of Maggy.

It's harder to sort the amateur stuff, I know. But that is for another day maybe. Also yeah, hi, first thread here.

All of mine is sorted into categories based off the primary focus of the content. Means there's the occasional outlier in another folder, but that seems to work for me pretty well

Usually it's sorted by species first, then mating or sex of animal, then male-human/female-human and then who fucks whom and how sometimes those categories are switched. The problem is that file structures are not very flexible but tag systems depend on using some sort of software - you could put them in a content management system or something - also it takes loads of effort to sort through collections. For example I have like 500gb of porn and usually not very much time or motivation to sort the files - even have not cleared all duplicate files. Even then you have to make decisions for every file - like is the path of the one or the other copy more descriptive. Also where to put threesomes ?

Fortunately some of the issues you mention don't apply to me since I mostly have female-human and male-animal videos. But everything else is such a pain point. There's no tagging and description systems in Windows (I wish WinFS was real) and so it's so annoying to go through tons of videos that have a general "genre" but you can't search for something specific unless you rename everything and with a collection equalling your size, I'm so tired of doing that. I genuinely have a huge amateur folder and a smaller faves folder for the stuff that I love a lot.

What about content like Zooskool/AoZ/Seamless where you have multiple videos from the same performer? MY Zooskool collection is so disorganised D:

yeah, that's where the inflexibility of a file system gets you - you can either make a zooskool folder and then make sub-folders for species - or you can make a zooskool folder in every species folder for example
