Oh Hey, ZV was updated. But quick news in here.

It is not there at all. Which is amazing. :D Definitely not a feature I use every day. But I guess it is being updated.

Well damn, that's what's missing! I thought my notification bar looked a little... off! 😅

The server admin is working on the forum database. It'll likely return once he's done working on it. Although I can always take a look into it later, if it doesn't return.

Fixed:​

• I've gotten rid of the "Featured Content" widget on the side of the forum.

• Edit 1: Fixed logo size for PC users.

Temporarily Fixed:​

• Uploading images to the forum. Image optimization addon is currently temporarily disabled, which is what was causing the images to become corrupted after uploading them.

• Groups (the groups still exist in the nodes and have not been deleted, but the Social Groups addon is broken, and if it can be updated, it will have to be updated by the server admin.)

• Images flipping when uploading for some users using mobile.

• Page timeouts when posting.

• Replies to profile posts themselves are not highlightable.

Yay! Who had taken it? 😁

Possibly need to recreate the database.
(Maybe similar issue with these slow profile post searches.)

If it does not start solving by itself it may have to be looked how to start the indexing manually

Dude, there's no "re-creating the DB" as a fix... that's a nuclear option. You really don't wanna go there unless you've lost the whole thing!

True, but might need to re-generate any indexes in the database. (assuming the search/post counts are maintained via a table index, of course)

Whole different endeavor.

Anyway, I'm backing out from this Statler & Waldorf chat. I'll leave it to the guys working on it to diagnose it and sort it out.

As someone who does this for a living, there's nothing more maddening than being asked from the sidelines questions to the effect of "have you turned it off and on?". Yes, thank you Cptn Obvious!

Image issues in DMs (and possibly forum threads), Groups not working and may be something not mentioned.

Brought it to the one that updated and he's currently working on those issues. Not too sure on the ETA for some.
I'll mention @admin @SloppyTac0 so he can see this and others could point out any thing they find.

As a possibility, I would advise clearing site data, or if you're in tor, new identity to clear up any cache issues due to any new code changes.

I just discovered that the media section of the groups is no longer accessible when accessed it displays: "Oops! We ran into some problems. The requested page could not be found."

That's what I'm saying. I only posted the "." comments because my account reseted and was trying to make it functional again... I had more than 20 normal comments and was using it normally, had private messages, etc, but now is just like I just created it...

Have no more old or new notifications of old posts, my private messages still there but can't continue them or create news, etc.
 
When on mobile in a secure browser the attach file button doesnt work when you try to upload pics or videos because the browser backs you out. I think it bugs out and doesnt upload the image/vid like it forgets or isnt there.
 
Something I just noticed. If we sign in with the TOR address, everything works as it should except for one thing. When you go to "Mark all alerts read" on the alerts page, the dialog window opens up, but the button link in the dialog defaults to the zooville.net domain and not the tor domain. If you use the browser back button to go back to the tor page, all of them are marked as read, so its working its just redirecting incorrectly.

Your profile was not reset, all the posts you have lost were deleted for legitimate reasons. Those reasons being the thread being deleted or spamming.

YES, IT WAS RESETED. How hard is it to understand that the account was reseted and ONLY THEN I spammed the comments with "."? The account had totally normal comments BEFORE the spam, like 2 weeks ago. And then one day It was reseted for nothing and ONLY THEN I spammed the "." comments to test
