Huh. I suppose I might need to look into the trailers a bit more. It does sound similar to a mechanic in some digimon games I played, but I need to double check how close it is to those.
No problem with that. Fingers crossed it the game is good. And if not, I guess it's back to reading the manga and fanfiction.
You make a good point. Pokemon has not been in the best hands as of late, so who knows how good the game will be?
I think Netflix also has a new Pokemon show out, if that's your thing.
I yearn for the day that the studio gets off its butt and puts actual effort in. Shin Megamii Tensei and Tears of the Kingdom proved you can do a lot on the switch, and the Pokemon company is failing to even touch those titles when it comes to delivery. I would even love it if they released a 2d pixel art game again, because games like animal well have proved they even 2d pixels can look fantastic.
Fair, it's not my thing either. I'm more a fanfic and manga guy.
