Hi there, glad u found your way here. Alsp glad u realise there is a certain way we behave and its not complicated . I dont say there arent meetups but those are rare and require years of trust and personal and irl friendships.

Thank you for your kind words! ^_^ and yes, I will admit, I'd love to bottom for a furry friend. My issue is, my wife is allergic to dogs...so bringing a furry friend home is out of the question. And adopting as a travel companion while I'm working just seems cruel because of the hours I work (construction). It would break my heart to not be able to give them the life they deserve.
 
Well yes that is a problem the allergy, dunno about it so there might be stuff u can take to make it bareable i mean she wont hug and snuggle with a dog but her allwrgies might be ok with the dog in the house, but i am not a doctor so u might ask about that.
Ye long work hours are bad for doggo, for him u will be the center of the univers and will be sad evwrytime u leave, there a saying floating arround: donyou apologise to you dog as well when u have to leave home?
Yes they deserve the best but moat important they deserv a hooman to love, i dont know about shelters there but here they kill dogs after 2 weeks and the conditions are barbaric to say the least , so if u can adopt a pup do it, it might be long hours it might be not ideal but the momwnta u spend with him he will know his hooman loves him and he will love you back trust me.
