is there a way to ask a friend?

i remember i had this friend who we called “the dog fucker”. he would make jokes about having sex with his dog and so would the friend group but it started to walk the line of nobody really knowing for sure if he was actually doing stuff with his dog.

he was never uncomfortable about the jokes he embraced them and continued them. in person, online, anytime of day he would openly admit to fucking with his dog. but again its unclear if it was a joke going on for a few years strong or if he was just openly admitting it knowing nobody would believe it.

as someone who like most people on this site is into that sort of thing, (didnt know at the time lol) is there any way to sort of break the ice and ask outright without sort of outing and exposing oneself if it did end up being a big joke. could be a great way to reconnect after drifting apart or could be a final nail in a coffin

Let him be, keep joking about it, but don't make it awkward. Why do you care?

Ask yourself:
What do you have to gain out of the whole thing?
What does he have to gain out of the whole thing?
What if he's not?
What if you just outed yourself?
What if later on you two have a fall out?

Don't! Just don't do it! If it blows up now or later you've just lost a friend and screwed up 3 lives: yours, his, and his dog's.

I mean, if you want to reconnect with the guy, get the man a beer and have a drink together. Talk about your lives and reconnect that way!

What do you expect it would happen if you ask him "hey, did you really use to pork your bitch?" - do you think you're going to bro-fist each other as you're balls deep in bitch ass? Or more likely, he's going to bro-fist your face for being a churlish c*nt?

I would probably just leave it alone myself. but if you insisted, I would say "jokingly" ask something specific that he would only know or have a very little chance of knowing unless he was actually experienced.
