I never had trouble with it but I can see why you would if you view them more like family and less like friends/lovers. There is a happy medium of love of different kinds and lust and ownership and friendship that really deepens as you take your relationship to a sexual level.

Yes , for me it kinda is weird. But in the since messing around with your straight roommate would be. It's still hot in the heat of the moment. Everyone has a good time. Most people around here who actively talks will tell they have no issues with this topic.

But from my own experiences in talking with lots of people i may relate this situation happens A LOT.

There are many people that actually find the concept of having sex with an animal (most of the cases dogs) amazing or sexy, or appealing. But when it happens to take it to "real terms" they get in that thin line of that they wouldn't do it with their own dogs since "it feels odd or they see them as family and "wouldn't do that", and the other side when they don't want to share this lifestyle/kink/desire with anyone but also wouldn't do anything with other people's animals.

Now in my case? i can view the animal as a "family member" but the same way i'd see a partner/lover/GF/Spouse/ETC in that way that doesn't involve birthing directly (i.e siblings, parents, etc)
