My girl (donk) has gone into heat and while spending some time brushing and petting her, she was getting awfully affectionate. Resting her head on me, wrapping her neck around me... positioning that booty with tail raises....

But of course, other folks are at the barn and it's just not gonna happen. Now, I know she will be in cycle of a few days and we will get our time to bond. But it was just a frustrating to loose a beautiful moment that could have become perfect.

Yea, yea, yea... other times, enjoy what it was. I'm aware of all that. I just want to scream, buck, rear up, whiney, and kick the stall door.
