Today I met up with another zoo for the very first time! (I won't say who until he gives me the go ahead once he sees me message. I forgot to ask him if it's okay to post about it, but I'll keep it vague until then. Lol)
Him and I went to a rescue/rehabilitation zoo around the area where I live, and it couldn't have gone better! There was quite a bit of staff cleaning the enclosures and feeding the animals while we were there, and they even explained everything to us while they were doing it!
Thankfully this zoo really works hard to make sure the animals are properly stimulated and don't suffer from zoochosis.
There was a pair of grey wolf puppies pacing at the fence of their usual enclosure while a lady was cleaning it up, but I think they were just wanting to get back to their regular area with their toys.
And the coyotes they have were trotting around the whole cage the entire time, but that might just be because coyotes are natural crackheads!
Other than that, all of the other animals were looking healthy and happy in their enclosures!
After the zoo, we went and had some lunch at a local restaurant and chatted some more about our interests!
All in all, it was the perfect first time meeting another zoo for me, and I couldn't be happier about it!

Glad you had a good time finally meeting your friend, There's something about hanging out with friends in person that simply can't be replicated in a virtual environment. Hope that the two of you get to hang out again real soon!
