How to keep clean? First time with dog

I’ve got a doggy! He’s ready to fuck! I want to make sure he’s clean before we fuck. What all should I do to clean him to prevent me from getting something from him? There was a thread one time but I can’t find it anymore that discussed dewormer.

Number 1 priority should be to make sure he's up on his shots (which would include deworming) as well as other vet related items (check for heartworm, etc.)
