By the way, do people assume you are in the military? Is it just something people ask nowadays? I've been asked about it several times here, so I know it can't just be the haircut. I've had unrelated jobs where people assumed I was in the military. I don't look my age and work out, but even military guys say I give off the vibe. I have been told I have a stick up my ass so maybe that's it...lol, I always try to be polite, and I am socially liberal, and I lean a little left of center, which goes against the beliefs of every military person I know. Maybe it’s the way I carry myself? I hurt my back and shoulder, and I always try to maintain the correct posture just because I don't want to get a humpback. It's not a part of me, even though I wish it were, and I feel guilty when people assume it. I have had "military type" training with many weapons and survival training. I do have a small arsenal (I think Burt Gummer's basement in Tremors comes to mind, lol). I tell people no when they ask, but it always happens. It just seems weird because I recently started dating again, and every one of my dates has asked that. I don't remember being asked all the time when I was younger, but my memory sucks...lol.
Do you know why, or does it happen to you also?
