How does your male dog act when female dogs are in heat?

I do not have my own dog yet, but I was wondering. I know a couple with a male dog, and when female dogs in heat are nearby it almost shuts off its brain. It might not even really eat for a couple of days.

Does this change when the dog is allowed to fuck a human? Does this ‘take the edge‘ of things, or it is just horny all the time regardless?

The dog's sexual desire is easily aroused and is very strong. So he is always ready for sex when he notices that the female is in "heat", whether it is a dog ou a human. You need to train your dog with clear signals so that he can differentiate between sex andd being quiet.
-always have sex in the same place
-always use he same scent.
-always wear the same clothes.
-always use the same positive words
-always use the same affection gestures
-always touch the same parts of the dog.

this way he will realize that you want sex.

and make gestures of disapproval.

This ways he will differentiate the two moments

Will a male dog function normally, even when female dogs in heat are nearby, if the male dog recently had sex with a human?

Also, if the answer is yes, what is ‘recently’?

It does not for my dog.
He goes nuts and wants to have sex more often.

If a bitch is on heat nearby(in the village) my male will eat less and howl now and then etc. He will get really keen on having sex with me also, no foreplay needed but after he finnish it will cool him down for maybe 30, 45 minutes or so depending how intense the heat is Then he is back at it
