So why aren't the sows allowed to have sex with boars?
No boars, the boars genes aren't right for the sows, the people in charge are unable to handle a rutting boar, or has the sperm been screened for trait manipulation. To be blunt, if you're viewing animals merely as "tools to satisfy your sexual needs" you're part of the problem.

If you don't know the animals personally how can you possibly take care of them properly, I don't think I could ever be happy working on a factory farm.
