Fuck buddies or Partners/Mates?

I've thought about these questions for a while and felt this was the best way to ask them all together.

How do you feel about, or I guess, see (accept?) your zoo lovers. Do you see them as some type of fwb role where your the owner and you fuck them on the side sometimes or do you see them as actual mates (like your personal version of a boyfriend or husband) where you fully commit to them and them only

Do you consider doing another dog cheating or just getting to express your zoo exclusively further?

And finally, when your lovers have passed, do you remain celibate after them like a widow would or do you mourn them, accept their passing, then once ready move on to a new zoo lover?

I do know everyone's answer, belief and interpretation will be different so I'd love to hear how you personally see things. There's no wrong answer for this question so everyone be respectful of how others chose to live by zoo

My dog is a sort of friend with benefits with a sort of love between us. Different love than what you can expect from a human, but still love.

Dogs are not monogamous. So I do not have a problem with this either.

I have lost several animals I loved in the past. While it will never stopped hurting, I can not live without an animal companion. I love animals too much.

Really depends on what they want in the relationship, for example my pony mare was very much my lover and best friend while my quarter horse was basically just friends with benefits.

No I've never thought of having sex with other mares as cheating nor them mating with a stallion, it's kinda normal with equines.

I've lost more companions than I wish to think about including one quite recently but I can't simply start ignoring the two that remain.

FWB. I'm not active with any animals right now, but I've always considered them friends with benefits. I l love animals in the way you love your close friends, I would do anything for them, I love to cuddle and play with them. But I think overlaying human concepts of monogamy and cheating into a human animal relationship doesn't really make sense.

The same sentiment applies to when they pass. It's horrendous, it's like losing a friend who never did anyone wrong and loved with all their hearts, but we have to keep going. There are a lot of other animals out there who need loving homes just like they did.
