First time M/M dog

Any advice on how to get a full grown German shepherd to get used of anal? I’m considered just a bit above average but don’t want to chance it and hurt him, when I finger him he actually trust back and opens. It seems like allot of room inside when I feel around in there but I’m just at a bit hesitant.

Take your time to lube them well and make its possible for you to slide in without much force, I've done it a few times and definitely get them loose
