I think that women are in general more afraid of being perceived as slut and care about that public image more eg no one cares if boys in highschool are watching all kinds of porn bc it's an unspoken obvious thing and I've always seen dudes exchanging fap materials in public talking about it freely joking etc. Me as a girl I'd have been crucified in my girl friends' circle and my social life would have ended just like that.
