Fake User Awareness Thread

Still new here, so wait fake accounts will spam inboxes once I get my DM? How can you truly tell if they're fakes? Just new accounts or them going strictly off your tastes 😬?
 
I feel left out, haven't had any fake users attempt to DM me. One unsolicited DM I kinda ignored because the pic had a huge human dick in it , not my thang. Is it mostly women that get hit up with these things?

Most of those are made by porn thirsters too fucking stupid to get out of their own way, let alone smart enough to be cops. Not that cops are smarter than any other person, per say. But you would think you would draw in more arrestable people if you were smart enough to spell your own name at least.

Besides, its a global forum, police dont have unlimited jurisdiction, how do you explain to your boss in new york that you snared some dumb bitch in london? i.e. who cares? You're fired fuckwit. Yeah, they could tip off your local cops, but really, I am much more worried that there is an asteroid out there flying around with my name on it......better odds for the asteroid.

Probably, I’m just paranoid. Couldn’t LE like in Virginia arrange for a sting in Virginia ? Posting a meeting in their jurisdiction. Why would a cop post a honeypot topic to meet outside their area of operations? And if they can get someone to travel to Virginia that works too?

If this was like craigslist, broken up by city/region, meh, maybe, but EVERYTHING here is all pooled together in one big heap, and is global, thats too hard to pin down for actual LE operations and budgets if you really sit down and think about it......

Biggest problem here is catfish and other fake fucks....if YOU cant tell, how the hell do the cops tell? So, great, a virginia cop pins down some bitch in texas and alerts local texas athorities....except when the texas cop sets up a 'knotting'....SURPRISE!!!!!!

The supposed texas bitch ghosts him and turns out to have never been real in the first place.....shocker.......

Wasting time and manhours on ridiculous low yield shit like this is the stuff reprimands and terminations are made of. And for what? Some stupid fuck *might* possibly get convicted of some low grade misdemenor and some probation. From a police perspective, thats a waste of fucking time and resources.

I mean, I GET the paranoia. I DO. But alongside that, you have to also put in some practical reality. LEGIT zoos cant fucking manage to ever meet people here because most cant tell reality from catfish, fakes, and flakes....I cant MAKE myself see cops being somehow able to sift thru the trash any better than anyone else.

I'm picking up what you are laying down. And yes the paranoia will always be there, but yea if I think about it.. for a meet I would vett the shit out of the person with a long time in DM's etc. Sure catfish will play this game that is what they enjoy doing, but LE to go along with months of talking about fucking dogs or cows, etc, probably not. They'd be like I'm not doing this I can be going after some drug dealers or pedos etc. Imagine writing the report of your activities talking about fucking animals for months with zoos online in hopes of entrapping one for probation and public humiliation.

I'll try to lighten up, while still being suss of everything from *fish to the NSA.:)

Be suspect of literally everything here. Definitely. Just be so in the right frame of mind. I'm not saying there ARE no cops here, what I'm saying is that is a very very small likelihood.

Odds are definitively on fakes and fuckwits over cops. I ,Personally wont take as long as months, but I certainly agree with the cautious aspects embodided in that concept.

Me, personally, the way I go about things and MY degree of personal paranoia, it doesnt take more than 2 weeks for me to eliminate all but the very craftiest of catfish. I'm not infallible by any means, but I'm fairly adept at picking up inconsistencies obvious and less obvious, and any doubt at all after a couple weeks of chat, I pull the plug. If someone makes it that far, they would have to be a very skilled social engineer. People have made it 3 weeks before being bounced, but not often.

I've met a few dozen people online over the years thus far and not been nailed by any sting (stung, lol), though I have been disappointed in what I thought would be good meets a few times. It happens.

Stay paranoid. And stay safe.
