Every time I start communicating with someone who tries to sound strict/dominant/intelligent with their language and see silly smileys in their messages, I immediately lose interest.

Am I the only one who doesn't think dominant person and emoji are compatible?

I have seen posts from people who were obviously intelligent and used these: :D

I noticed in online communication that people from Europe use emojis much more than e.g. people from America. I look at it this way, when there is a serious conversation then I don't use emojis, in all other situations I use them. So for me personally, it has nothing to do with whether someone is dominant or not as a person.

Hum as these many little faces go I think they can add to the conversation and add expressions that simple printed words can not. I dont think they are a reflection on a persons character whether they are dominant or not.
