You need your phone number to the regular user your anonymous but you need a number to verify yourself. Don't forget to turn privacy settings on. You never know what Rabbit Hole you COULD be drove into so it's best to turn it is minimum as possible (or maximum depending how you word it

There is a new option that is currently in testing, Nostr. It is a decentralized Twitter alternative for text communication that works off the internet relay system. It doesn't require an email or phone number set up an account. There is currently a desktop client and an Android app. An app for iOS is being worked on. But there is also a web interface. The desktop app (really a webapp) and the webpage are astral.ninja and the Android app is Damus. According to what I've seen, setting up a relay is relatively simple and can be done on a Raspberry Pi. Just share your public key/user ID across multiple relays. It isn't necessary to setup your own relay. Share those relays with your subscribers and you're in business. The more relays you share your account across, the more resilient your account will be. If you setup your own relay then it can't be take down or censored.

I use Telegram, but wouldn't ever use it for something like this. Besides being personally connected through a phone number, unless using a burner, Telegram does shutdown accounts and groups if it gets too much pushback from Google or Apple.

I encourage everyone to look into Nostr.

Hehe we live and die by word of mouth. Good for us to share alternatives and find ways to be more secure. We're not doing anything wrong, but human nature needs targets to satisfy their lust for hate. Long as we stay connected and stick together, we'll be able to enjoy life. Isolation and fear mongering from within is often the easiest way for groups like this to become dismantled...as I've seen often on Twitter and other, less tolerant Zoo forums across the site.

Absolutely! That's why I prefer to network with Zoos and other people who are fringed because of their sexual fantasties. If I can at least be there for them, I feel happier knowing that's 2 less people who have to feel alone (myself included). That's why I'm so happy to have found this forum! Plus I find that people into fringe/illegal fantasies tend to be really nice people and just want a place to express themselves. That to me is far more utopic. I don't want to go my whole life being afraid because of a number. I always keep a very open mind. Give people the chance they've given me.

The good thing about the internet is most people practice "Out of sight, out of mind". While it does make it harder to find people on the clear web, a discrete enough server hosted personally or by a zoo friendly service in a hard to find location would make it easier. Plus like with Naturist camps that not only exist IRL, but also allow children to participate, I'm sure there are zoo sanctuaries somewhere in the world where no one would bother us. The earth is big. Still, long as we keep staying in contact, we don't really have to keep running, just "hide in plain sight". Trust really is the thread that holds us all together, but even then there's only so much the authorities are willing to do, given case studies I've read about.

Nudist camps aren't usually a concern for law enforcement, tho they are watched for bad behaviour, generally those places will stop shit, before the cops need to intervene.

Zoo sanctuaries, while they may exist, I doubt are anywhere even near uncommon, more rare.

That said, if I had enough land, I would love to build a.small isolated village of people who wish to back away from society a bit, and whole that place would still be subject to the laws, enforcement is only as.likely as the members are willing to call the cops, or neighbors I guess

The nice thing about "laws" is that they are dictated mostly by the people in the society and the ability to enforce them. So if you managed to build an isolated village (one of my dreams as well), as long as no country's army came and stormed the place, we'd pretty much be policing ourselves and just have to agree on what laws we will accept. There are Anarchy cities even within the US and other parts of the world where the area is so isolated or difficult to reach (or dangerous) that the govts don't want to bother investigating them even if they are doing crazy stuff. But getting resources to survive like food and water will be one of the challenges. Definitely doable though. Would be really fun to plan. I love this kind of theorycrafting. Several case studies I read generally ignore these locations or perps who do these things because of the limited resources and how dangerous it is to infiltrate for not enough real pay off. That's likely why they'd go for low hanging fruit, but definitely depends on what the surrounding community thinks and having plenty of self defense to avoid vigilantes thinking they can use our homes as target practice.

Yeah I think every bit of land is either claimed politically or is hotly contested, but the world is so big, no one can monitor every inch of land at once. So yeah we wouldn't need a new country per se. Just to make sure the parent country doesn't bother us and we'd be fine! But yeah, key would be making sure only people into it know how to get there. Last thing we'd want are militant trolls raiding us and we can't defend ourselves. It'd be amazing though if pulled off!

Can I just note that with #1 on this list, it is no longer viable for newer members or members who havent signed up yet as the token is constantly being used quickly and often is invalid.

Not that I am saying that is a bad thing. I like the control, but given this, to contact admin there for new folks or folks that havent signed up isnt really an option anymore

I saved the ZooVille Announcement Channel to my Telegram account, but usually have to uninstall my Browser updates to reset it, then I can log back in to ZooVille.
