hey fellow owners!

what do you give your dog to improve their bad breath?

my boys breath literally makes me choke unless he drinks like a gallon of water first lol

for context he eats twice a day and is currently on a salmon kibble and raw (chicken + beef) mix.

Are he/she teeth clean? This are the main cause of bad breath.

And then next stomach problems.

Brush every day. Paste is optional as it does not seem to do much. But enzymatic tooth pastes for dogs are sold.
The mechanical cleaning does most of the job though.

Toothbrushing is mandatory but some doggies don't like it. But yes, YT shows some good techniques how to do.

Mine isn’t a big chewer so brushing their teeth is a must.

When I finally got my poor old dog his much-delayed dental cleaning, the sedation almost wiped him out, but it did make a surprisingly effective improvement in his breath. "Gingivitis" is for real, both the inflammation and the odor. After that I bought a scaler, and I've been doing my best to keep his teeth clean down to the gum-line, in addition to enzymatic toothpaste. He eats dry food, but he was never a recreational chewer.

I feed my dogs raw and they use raw beef marrow bones for teeth cleaning. 1000% no bad breath.
