Does your dog try to mate with other humans?

So im pursuing a good promotion at work and if I get it all be in a comfortable spot financially enough to get a dog but I have a worry. Ill be only working a few days but very long days wich means occasionally a babysitter. Obviously I'm going to want to have sex with him at some sonepoint. I worry though do I need to worry about him trying to mate with other humans? I wouldn't care expect for the fact that could cause some serious safety problems.

I'll be getting a great dane so if he's interested it's definitely going to be noticeable..

Congrats on the promotion! This is a concern a lot of people share when getting started. However, I would say you need not worry. All of the k9 porn I have watched shows me that the female has to be willing to mate for the act to happen. Lots of "normal" male dogs (I mean those not fixed however not sexually active with a human partner) hump everything all of the time. It is quite natural and expected by most people. If the babysitter gets offended by this behavior, fire him/her. You don't want someone watching your doggie and lover that has no basic understanding of how a male dog's brain works.

This makes me think of a funny clip from the movie "Joe Dirt". 😂😆🤣

I'm not making light of your concern, it is valid, I just like to end my posts with a bit of levity if possible (I don't like to take life too seriously). 😁

My advice is this, don't waste any more energy worrying about it and enjoy your doggie cock! What a lucky beast he will be! 😍

Joe Dirt Dog Hump

(6:53 is the scene if referred to above)

P.S. - Also by no means insinuating that you are "off balance", again just a funny clip. 😉

Thank you! Fingers crossed I get it! The head supervisor said I did good in the interviewso that's good this company likes multiple interviews though haha. But yea your right I suppose I didn't think about that. It's just so scary to think about.

I forgot about that movie! Haha he will stop when he's finished that's great. I might have to tell people that. Give them a tissue be like for your clothes to wipe him off haha

Check out some of the training guides on here. You’ll find some valuable information on how to avoid scenarios such as these.

For example, have a space or delegated for sexual activities. That way, the dog will come to develop an association between a space and an activity. That alone can preclude random behavior.

Another tip is learning to be dominant in some aspects of your relationship. This is critical. The dog will learn to listen to your commands and your body language, which first and foremost is important for his health. I highly recommend the podcast “Sexier Than a Squirrel” to understand why you need to be the ‘decision maker’ in this relationship. It can save his life. Secondarily, he will learn to read your commands as viability for sexual activity. Think of alpha females in pack situations: they’re in control, they’re the ones running the show, but they still go into heat and allow males to breed them. That’s you.

Third: keep in mind that the average person doesn’t think ‘this dog is humping me…do they have sex with their owner? Will it have sex with me?’ They think ‘this dog is humping me…oh god, get it off!’ And even if your dog does start humping the sitter, that’s not an uncommon occurrence. The sitter just needs to know one thing: if he starts misbehaving, put him in his use X commands. If that doesn’t work, put him in his kennel/let him outside. Hell, some people even have hump toys for their pets because they’re so frisky. Unless the sitter is also a zoo, it’s extremely unlikely they’ll even be suspicious.

Good luck!

My German Shepard needs play and attention and some focus for a sexual moment to develop. The average person who walks into my home and just pets him and pays the minimal attention doesn’t get him ‘in the mood’ lol

I completely agree with the others. I have been an owner of many dogs over the years and none of them have ever tried to randomly mount anyone. I didn't train them for that, it was just a natural thing. I feel that an animal bonds with you not only emotionally but sexually as well. If you think about it - do husbands/wives/SO's normally go around and just start having sex with random people?

I can't say it won't happen as other dogs (not my own) have approached me in a flirtatious way. Maybe they can sense my desire or maybe I just recognize the signs more. I had one bitch, that was in heat, back right up to my crotch and grind herself into me while we were visiting in my friend's house. He anxiously said "Oh my god...I am so sorry! I don't know what got into her!" I said it was no problem...what I wanted to say was "She wants ME to get into her!" :husky_happysmile:

If he would do that it is usually easy to dismiss it and say "Heh....that's what dogs do. Horny suckers!" and just change the subject.

Good luck!

I had no accidents with 2 horny as fuck male husky’s in a couple of years. We trained our boys to know the “pose”, mrs face down ass up and if they seen that they’d be excitable and quickly unsheathe and come for a sniff or lick. Thankfully no one else ever had to get in that position for any reason!

Not too sure if that was poor training on our behalf having a cue like that but it worked. No other incidents.

Good luck! Post some updates of your new companion when you get them!!

Train your dog to react to a specific piece of clothing like a bandanna or a specific dog toy. Reward him for his activity when you have it, “bad dog” him when he tries adult activities when the item is not present. He will learn your specific items means “go time” and not to react otherwise.

Kind of like guys when they hear the Monday night football song - they just drop everything and drift toward the tv. No song, they are just normal boys on mondays for 6 months (joking-ish)

On point! Never considered one specific piece of clothing or something as such. Smart

Play partners I have, however hats how they trained their pups. So if they do want to share the pup they just hand that item to the person. Dog is more than ok with it
Very intelligent! My two boys were trained to recognise the pose from my ex, hands and knees, face down ass up. They’d be visibly excited at that and run over straight away for a sniff and lick… we just prayed no one else ever had the need to be in that position in our house with the dogs for any reason lol
Inexperience on our part but definitely taking the clothing idea on board for next time!

One tip I heard on Omegle is to put big fluffy tube socks over your pup's front feet. Not only will this prevent certain marks on your hips, but also your doggie will learn that sex only starts when YOU put the socks on. I also heard that eventually he will get the idea, and bring socks to you when he wants some.

Again, heard that on Omegle. Take with a grain of salt. Best of luck in work, keep us posted!

hey, congratulations on the promotion, for my experience with this, in all these years none of my dogs tried to mate with anyone other than me, in fact one of them actually stopped humming the others after I started satisfying him.
