Does anyone else love the smell of their dog?

Maybe him smelling me so much is starting to rub off on me, but I can't get enough of how good my dog smells. Even in general, he smells really good, I do give him a lot of baths, but there's still his natural "doggyness" lol.
And don't even get me started on his more "intimate" areas. It might be a little much, but one of my favorite ways to relax after work is to just bury my face between his legs and inhale. He seems to love it too, he just lays back and lets me until it eventually escalates. Would a dogs pheromones have an effect on people? If they do then they're definitely having quite the effect on me lol. Does anyone else do this or am I just weird?
 
Yes. You can actually frequently find me sniffing my dog. Even sniffing the knot.

Yeah, I like my dog's smell too.
And I think the smell gets associated with something good in our brains and that's why it's so enjoyable for some people, and for some is the opposite
 
It's always musky and robust but in a good way every dog has their sent but none smell like my boy he's got a soothing scent one that I can't help but melt into.
 
Taking a nap on the sofa and my dog beside me... ( well mostly half way on me..) the scent, warmth and deep breathing.. so relaxing and calming..
 
It’s good to hear that he’s having a positive influence on you. Maybe you’ll pick up on some of his other behaviors too
 
I think like with humans you can get conditioned to it. I really love canine smell, ears, paws, belly, private parts, butt..
As for pheromones, they are universal in the mammal world, unlike your own species, reaction to it is not inherited but it seems like you can "learn" it.
I know it from others and also had the effect myself with a buddys dog... one day I asked " did you give her a bath? no, why? well today somehow she smells gorgeous to me, I could cuddle inhale her all day" and he replied with a grin " oh it works with you too, well she went into heat the other day, her smell changed" I would not be sure that it works like a dog but you can definately get adjusted to it. Funny thing is, that the human side doesnt work for me at all.

Not mine cause I don't have one but the few females my friends had I'd just be absolutely drawn to
 
Not my dog, she showers and stuff too often so she can smell weird sometimes. I did have this roommate who's I would just sniff whenever he was at work though. I don't know why he smelled so good
