Black roosters!

Valkiria

It is not a game!
Curious fact!
You probably didn't know, but some hens can lay black eggs!
It is extremely rare when a rooster has darker feathers, almost black. The chickens that can hatch from black eggs are exclusively male-only roosters and become extremely large.
If you don't believe me, google "Big black cock" and you will see with your own eyes!

Black Chickens are not unknown in most places where chickens are raised.Grey or "Dun" cocks are much rarer, far less healthy, and oddly, far more likely to be preyed upon, even if healthy birds. Fly tyers worldwide raise chickens for feathers to tie flies....

In France, a prize cock of a particular color may be raised alongside a tyer's family, and the bird will be plucked for hackle twice a year....that makes them far more valuable than little french people.

Many birds lay spotted eggs, or colored other than white. Usually they're drab colors so predators cant see them easily.
