As animal lovers, I feel it is our duty to fight for animal rights.
I've recently been reducing my meat and animal products intake, because I've realized how intelligent and complex cows and chickens are and how they bond with humans, for one. I would never eat dog, why would I eat cow? It sure is HARD avoiding animal products in the current food environment, but I'm doing what I can ...
Factory farming is such a huge evil.
Not that I think you are evil and immoral for eating meat, of course. But our current practices for obtaining that meat are barbaric.

For one to live, another must die, just a fact of life.

Why best thing to do is support local small scale farms where they have the time to care for their animals and don't view them as a mere commodity. All so we got a word for what you're suffering, we call it Disney syndrome, yes they are unique in their own way, but appreciate them for what they are with out anthropomorphicallizing them.

Why I started farming my own, just because they're food doesn't mean they don't deserve love and respect

I'm not an animal activist. A lot of idiotic people run here like some fandom because they're mentally damaged. I have no desire to belong to such groups.
