here was my first introduction to other zoos and i am very grateful for this place. I dont use it as often as i transitioned to tg and discord because i basically just DM my friends now but if it wasnt for ZV i would never have started having zoo friends

Yeah, I mean, for me it's nice that there's a built in commonality that's pretty base level. I have a hard time opening up to people, but just going in with this cohesive interest/proclivity/trait that's probably the most intimate or potentially embarrassing thing about myself kinds of helps to cut social anxiety off at the knees a bit. I honestly want to talk movies and music meaningfully with folks lol (Hit me up weirdos. I like thoughtful stuff that's out of the norm for music [I am a hipster] and am a big 90's movies guy, I think I'm coming to find.).
