Anyone else who's more into watching animals mate? I was like this long before knowing zoo exists. I think it's aesthetically extremely beautiful and often tender or passionate (depends on the species, some are harder to "emphatize" with).

Besides watching videos, I sometimes browse research papers or books describing mating behavior in detail. I love finding e.g descriptions of orgasmic behavior like shuddering, twitching, clutching.

There are also quite a few published (non-porn) novels that realistically describe animal lives and include more or less erotic mating scenes. An example is Fox and the Hound, which the Disney movie is based on (the book is a lot darker and for older audiences). The male fox is described having a feeling in his testicles during mating season, and the vixen writhes under him as he mounts her. There are similar scenes in books about otters, fisher cats (a Canadian mustelid), songbirds.

Even the naturalist Gerald Durrell gives an erotic and explicit description of seals or walruses mating in The Whispering Land.

Yep, I know that. Although it seems to be sparsely used and mostly in a medicalizing/pathologizing context.

Yes, this was actually the first sexual material I was ever exposed to. It was wolves, lions, otters, kangaroos, et cetera mating. Humans never even entered the picture for me. I guess I was exclusive from the very start - I always found the human psyche undesirable to have in a partner, and the body shape - ugh I wish I had another one! (the big brain is pretty nice though)
Funnily enough, a lot of the content passed off as non-pornographic on basis of species, so stayed on YouTube for a long time under creative nature licenses! That right there is some zoo privilege for you!
