hello !! I go by Mutt or Violet, I use they/them exclusively. I consider myself some weird grey area between being zooromantic and zoosexual? I have extremely strong feelings of care and love towards animals but my sexual attraction to them isn't always surrounding that. I am also a furry, and was wanting to see if I could eventually organize a group on here specifically for younger adult (19-25 year old) furzoos as there are a lot of big cultural differences between older furzoos and what we have going on right now with our early 20s (especially with fandom spaces, social media, interacting with others our age in general as zoos who may or may not be undercover, etc.) and I would love to discuss and hang out with people I find relatable to. Happy to finally introduce myself, hope to get to know some of you better.

Welcome to the wide world. I'm sort of a lurker myself. Was mated to a closet zoofur for a while, sadly it took us breaking up for them accept themself. Regardless of how supportive i was of them, but thats life.
Definately there are a lot of closeted zoofurs, and a big reason is the pushback against even feral art, much worse full acceptace of healthy and safe zooloving.

Ps, am sort of also a long time lurker here. Lost my other account (forgot email info and failed to recover it), and when i made the new one decided "honestly i need to meet new zoofurs, and i cant do that just lurking." Hopefully i get as lucky as you and find me a "furever" mate (cringe on purpose) who is also a zoofur and we can grow in that together.

I might not be a furry BUT I AM a young adult! And am just rediscovering what my attraction to animals means to me! And I relate to whatcha say! Glad we can be acquaintances! And I hope we’ll both be as active as we can be here! Cheers!

I'm sorry about that, yeah the journey of accepting this type of attraction is a rough one.
There are definitely SO MANY closeted zoofurs, me and my partner joke about how easy it is to point it out based on vibes/style/specific expressed sexual interests. It frustrates me with how the fandom is handling the puritanical return to "all furry porn is bad" and it doesn't even make sense to me when looking at it from the "Zoos are mentally ill/traumatized!!" perspective they try to push.

I'm honestly so excited to meet other zoofurs because I've been really scared about networking gently on socials due to the callout-craze going on right now. I feel like there aren't too many larger zoofur spaces besides twitter (and I'm not really vibing with the space on there as I'm more casual and not activist-y) and I want some friends in this nice anonymous space and potentially share some of my art.

I hope you find someone as well, having my mate has done so much for me and my comfort within myself and weirdly enough assured me in my human-ness because this ""condition"" does feel dehumanizing a large part of the time, but they make me feel understood and normal
