What Do You Get Annoyed By?

Just ignore them if they seem to be that common. Most of the time they never come back and respond and they're likely trolls.

Sorry to anyone who legitimately is seeking help regarding their self-acceptance of their zoophilia - I suspect trolls are deliberately sabotaging the likelihood of those people actually getting help on here, so I guess we need to use our best judgement and be careful.

@MareButtUddrrLovrr, darn yeah I hear bugs down south are absolutely terrible and having quite the phobia your detail of your experiences makes me want to go down there even less lol. I've never been south of the Canadian border so I don't know what real bug annoyance is like I suppose ?

Working and studying at the same time has me tired a lot more often, so I'm trying to push through with cups of coffee but I think I'm getting a lot more anxious because of it. The thing is it's different each day and I'm not sure how much caffeine I need for the really long days ?
 
I've heard of some nasty stuff down there, though I seldom walk outside barefoot that sounds pretty scary. Apparently there's "jumping cacti" in AZ or something

@Big Papa Coyote PREACH...... unfortunately there seems to be quite a few people here who fit into the above categories hence making me think I associate with a group of wackos after all, but I'm glad I'm not the only (somewhat) sane zoo......
 
While I firmly agree that everyone has a right to their own opinions,
I do not yield to everyone having a right to their own facts.
Yet many people these days think that rejecting actuality (i.e. biological evolution) can be defended as "their personal beliefs".

These evil little fuckers will ruin a lawn and it never feels good having to pull multiple of these out of your foot. Hell even if you're wearing shoes they'll still stick to your shoes and jeans to get tracked inside and stepped on.

I'm never in a position to encounter this right now, but I have before, and it makes my blood boil just by SEEING IT on TV!
When someone approaches a closed door, knocks, then just opens the door and walks in! WTF!!!
Of course, the door should be locked, but some doors don't lock, or for some reason, people neglect to lock them. Knocking does not mean
"knock, then enter!" A closed door means you must knock, then wait for someone to say "come in" or for them to open the door for you!
How hard is this?!?!
One more thing if I haven't annoyed YOU with this, so far: When you knock and get a reply of "Yes?" That does not mean "come in!" It means to stand on the other side of the door and state your business! That's not hard either!!

Haha, sorry that’s too funny how upset your getting just over the thought of it. I don’t like it much either, especially when your door doesn’t lock and the person is some random with dementia down the road and you don’t know them... Umm, hello, can I help you?? Lol
Chalk another up to ignorant people for me, weather your dodging them in traffic, or having to talk to them...

More so in their fur but yes there were times when I had to pull some out of a paw. As soon as you see a limp or notice them aggressively chewing on their paw you know what's up.
 
@ShanoirII, I don't intend to start an evolution/creation war as not only is the question not definitively answerable, but falls outside the scope of this thread's topic (I tend towards believing more in evolution myself) but, were you alive for the hundreds of millennia in which evolution took place? If not (and I have a hunch you haven't), there is no definitive possible way to know for certain that evolution took place and wasn't just a backstory fabricated when this world was created. On the flipside, I also recognize a belief in creation is just that, a belief, since it's exceedingly unlikely you're going to come across anyone who has lived long enough to tell the truth. And that evolution is more grounded in scientific reality than the creation theory according to our current knowledge. Nonetheless, each theory documents events that happened outside of our direct perception. So they remain just that, theories. We may never know which theory is true as there is a low likelihood of a legitimate confirmation from anybody, and that's okay. But until the day comes when we can be certain about the matter, if it ever comes, all that's left are beliefs.

On a more lighthearted note: @Kristy, totally agree with you about people who knock but then proceed to bust the door in with no response. That's just pure uncourteous practice. But when the other person says "Yes?", that's more of a grey area - many likely intend that to mean "come on in" and as such many people probably take it to mean such though (the people who do probably also answer "Yes?" to a door knock to signify they're okay with someone coming in). I do agree it's less clear than "Come in", but...... it just takes less effort ? So most people probably just say "yes" instead. Good to keep in mind for the future though, although I'll most definitely forget this conversation next time someone has to knock at my door for anything as it doesn't happen very often, and I'm a rather private person anyway so when someone I know has to knock that typically means "don't come in unless granted explicit consent" lol. Which is how my parents ask to come in if I'm in the "shower" and I'm in a bathroom that has no lock...... this is likely why I haven't been caught fapping yet ?

Guess it's about time I contributed something to this thread...... I suppose I don't so much despise it as find it hilarious when people confuse the usages of "your" and "you're". I've seen it a few times on this forum already and it's gonna be rather common on the Internet anyhow given its informal nature. Something else I notice is the far more common usage of "ur" in place of "you're", even though "ur" is a shortened form of "your" and thus would be misused. Though people that use that shortening are obviously writing informally and already don't give enough of a shit to spell it out in its complete form so it matters not at all honestly.
 
People that still say "pterodactyl" instead of "pterosaurs," as well as those that think that pterosaurs and other Mesozoic Era marine reptiles are considered "dinosaurs." Don't forget those that still say "saber-toothed tigers" instead of (either) "saber-toothed cats" or "Smilodon."

I was just using "evolution" as an example in my post. I could have used any other item all the same, so do not take my post as bashing on creationists or anything.
I have no intent to hijack this thread, but it feels I am called to respond. The colloquial idea of 'theory' is nothing more than an educated guess. A scientific theory, such as the 'theory of gravity', is a statement that explains an element of the natural universe and is not contradicted by any example, or else it would be scrapped. Evolution has more than met its burden of proof, what with the fossil record and hierarchy one can see if they lay out all DNA of modern organisms. We can breed for individual traits in populations of fruit flies. You seem to insinuate that evolution requires as much faith to believe in as creationism, which I disagree with. The former follows a tried methodology, while the latter makes an assertion. The idea you seem to propose - the one that whatever cannot be immediately proven must remain a mystery - seems absurd. It is possible to draw good conclusions without having physically been there to see something.
As a little extra, why not apply Ockham's razor? The idea that life naturally arose from simpler forms requires many less assumptions than the idea that all forms were individually created (and not created very well).
I actually watched this series yesterday. It may be a good listen. I do not want this to come off too personal :).
