WF Cody's Final Season, 1910. Cody retired to his Ranch in North Platte, Nebraska....the house was a pretty place near the Platte River (too thick to drink, too thin to plow, they say), and Passed in 1918. The Barns were custom built, with exposed rafter ends that looked like gunstocks. Out behind the Main barn was a little Cabin Buffalo Bill had had moved and reassembled, from further east. In his meat hunting days he and a companion had spent several winters in it. After retiring it was a special gathering place for his old friends. Been there, though never inside the house.....It is open to the public, but I seem to gave a talent for showing up when theres no one there1910,-advance-program---souvenir-booklet-from….jpg

Not sure who runs the Restaurant up top, but When I was there in 2009, they served a great Steak. The place revolves, so you can see the entire Seattle area as you dine. The waitstaff all carried pads of post-it notes....kids of whatever age could write notes, stick them on the windows and get replies from other diners.worlds-fair-preview-magazine,-1962.jpg
