PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING

Yes! No one ever mentions Arnold! That was priceless. Of course bad bunny is good too, gotta give him his flowers. Not the biggest fan of jellyroll, but he seems legit about it. Wouldn't be my first choice, but dudes lost a ton of weight. The tlc match is definitely going to be good too. Looking forward to jade/tiffy and styles/dirty dom too.
Yeah that Arnold appearance is damn near forgotten about! It's honestly overshadowed by when they were doing that celebrity guest general manager every Raw after Donald Trump took over WWE, kayfabe of course. Lol Yeah I hated that Bad Bunny angle so much but I understood it from a business standpoint because it brought more eyes on the product with him being involved. But with JellyRoll, man I hope they legit whoop his ass in the ring. Man I love Jade's look but she needs a manager. Her promo skills are mid as fuck. And Tiffany is almost in the same boat her damn self. But I do one thing, Rhea Ripley is the biggest thing in WWE right now besides Roman Reigns.

my biggest thing is I hate to see randy turned into a jobber. Thats my biggest issue with the tag team that they are going with. Could agree more with jade and tiffy though. Rhea is by far the face of it right now, just with how popular she is. Shes starting to get to that cena level where even if you dont watch wrestling people know her. Not saying shes there yet, but shes on the up.

i agree some celebs were great. Especially Steve Amel he was very athletic and his show Heels was pretty good. But cmon Jelly Roll? If they get him why not get like Ralphie May, Bert Kreischer, Tim Dillon, or Gabriel Iglesias. At least gabriel is a true fan.

Lol@Ralphie May. They would have to literally have to dig him out of the ground for that to happen since he is dead. But Gabriel Iglesias would have been PERFECT. But Jelly Roll did take a pretty gnarly bump tonight.

How was the show from the theater? Jelly Roll did pretty good. Him getting flattened on the table was awesome. Most celebrities don't get that risky.

It actually wasn't that bad! We took bathroom breaks for some of the matches because almost every match was mid as fuck. But we were doing chants in there but when the cash in happened we ALL fucking popped! That ended was truly cinematic! And then at the post conference when he came out knocked all the papers off of the desk and Becky saying,"Oops! We're posts misleading??" was just the fucking cherry on the top! We are all hyped tonight because Triple H said we haven't seen shit yet!

that ending was awesome. Sad thing is CM and Gunther's match was pretty good but will be totally forgotten due to Seth cashing in. nice thing was the women matches seemed much better than the men's. Jey and Roman was pretty good, but the women have been so great recently. Def can't wait for tonight.

lol Well not only that, Gunther is about to be forgotten about AGAIN because they are going to focus on the Seth and Punk rivalry for the next few months. But it definitely made me a fan of Seth though! And Triple H said it himself on the post show, we haven't seen anything yet!

Man seth pulling it off made the night. Had a feeling it was going to happen but wasnt sure. The way he sold it too and made me think for a second he wasn't going to was absolute cinema. Killed me to see punk lose it, but it was so good. Him and Seth are 2 of my favorites of all time so im the perfect mix of heartbroken and excited.

The internet predicted Seth's injury was a work and he would cash in if Punk won. I wasn't surprised when he came out. I was disappointed though because the match was pretty good.

Haha I know,I thought he wasn't going to cash in and when he threw the crutches down we ALL went wild in that theater. So far Night 2 has been better than Night 1.

Yeah I wasn't surprised either but the way he did it still made it great. I'm hoping the rivalry ends with Punk going over on Seth and winning back the championship.

Night 2 was not near as good as night one. Matches were flat or too long. Then the big surprise of Brock Lesnar. WTF thought he was suspended and under investigation for the rape and trafficking with Vince. I read a couple weeks ago Daniel Cormier said lesnar was banned from all wrestling and fighting worldwide. Was a shock for sure to see him but still disappointed overall.

Overall, I liked the show. Normally don't watch them, but this thread got me interested in it again. I really got annoyed when Iyo & Rhea were standing together waiting for Naomi to finish climbing to the top so they could catch her. It happens in the men's matches too. Like when Logan Paul was climbing to the top to jump on Jelly Roll laying on the desk. The camera angle showed Jelly Roll getting ready for the impact before Paul even finished climbing and then Paul did that silly 2 bottle Prime thing before he even jumped. That's a long time for a somebody to be layign on their back and have their arms pressed along their sides. If the wrestler can't get to the top pretty quick then they shouldn't be allowed to do moves from up there. It just makes the matches too unrealistic when nothing is happening except somebody climbing. I liked the tributes to Eddie Guerrero by AJ Styles and Dirty Dom. I was watching wrestling back then when Eddie would pull those stunts so I really liked that.

I dont think we were watching the same night lol. The only shitty matches that happened on Night 2 was that god awful Becky Lynch vs Lyra match and the steel cage match. Every match other than than those were 4 to 5 star matches. Especially the TLC match! Yeah, I wasn't expecting Brock at ALL and still don't see how they are going to fit him in the picture. The group that I went with and I were thinking that he is The Rock's stooge and the Rock sent him after Cena due to him turning face and going against their "business agreement".

Yeah, the slow build before jumping off the turnbuckle or top of the cage only works if it makes sense. If somebody just took a finisher, it would make sense for them to lay down that long because they just took a RKO, F5, Stunner, etc. And also if the person climbing has been wrestling a grueling 25 minutes and is tired as hell, that would also make sense as well. But how he did it was a little obnoxious. Lol I didnt care at that point because I just hated that Jelly Roll was in the match and I just wanted him to take a bump lol. The Eddie tribute match was great, completely unexpected and Dominick has gotten so much better in the ring.

I like Jelly Roll, but I liked seeing him take that big bump too. I don't know who most of the rappers are that they keep bringing in though.

Man me too! I went up and down so much with that whole exchange. Night two was amazing, the only bad match I think was the solo/jacob one. Just seemed very unplanned with too much going on. Brock coming back was something I truly didnt see coming though.

on raw nothing was mentioned about brock except showing the replay of him coming out at summer slam. Like everyone else not sure how he fits into the picture here. Also WWE is getting effing greedy. Now they are teaming with ESPN to carry them in 2026 leaving Peacock. They are pricing out their loyal fanbase of regular joes to where only corporate or rich people can afford live events

Then
WWE Network $9.99/month

Now
Netflix for RAW $7.99-$17.99/month
Peacock for PLE $7.99-$16.99/month

Forever
Netflix for RAW $7.99-$17.99/month
ESPN's new app for PLE $29.99/month

I remember that when my son subscribed to WWE Network it was only $5.99. They eventually switched to Peacock and now he pays $7.99. We refuse to get Netflix and not going to get ESPN either.

Yeah, Night 2 was head and shoulders above Night 1. Haha I thought the Becky Lynch and Lyra match was horrible. My theory on Brock is that he got sent by The Rock because Cena went back on their deal on him being a heel, and now Brock is here to make him pay for the next four months.

Yeah, Tony is out of his fucking mind if he thinks that the regular Joe is going to shell out over $50 dollars a month for just WWE. Not happening and I can't wait to see this blow up in their faces.

Will definitely be interesting to see if we get cena/brock more than once. The becky/Lyra match was really good i thought. But Lyra losing the way she did is what bothered me the most. The women main event scene has alot going on already, now she "cant" go after the IC title, so guessing Bailey wins it and then Lyra goes after her. Also the new espn deal is idiotic.
