They also made their effort for their country's triumph. My respect and admiration!!!And for Kristy, who mentioned an interest....here's a Rosie assembling a turret on a bomber production line....and say what anyone will( and don't say negative things about them in front of me) ....these ladies were warriors, too.

Honor, respect and gratitude to them, any sick person would be grateful to meet with that smile!!This is An Army Nurse, Viet Nam era, maybe 1970....The uniform and shotgun are borrowed, probably just for the pic. I knew a fair number of GI Nurses fairly well at the time....and not one of them would have been caught in-country wearing a uniform not their own. It could have gotten this gal killed, if she was captured....
Still....The Ladies were a Fine group and did more than their share for the GIs in Combat.

Wonderful !!!!
An Excellent Monochrome Set, once again
I completely agree with you. BTW, looks like that's the nose canopy of a B-17F.And for Kristy, who mentioned an interest....here's a Rosie assembling a turret on a bomber production line....and say what anyone will( and don't say negative things about them in front of me) ....these ladies were warriors, too.
