I’m curious to know for all your horror freaks out there, what’s your favorite series of horror movies? Do you have a favorite killer in these movies?

It’s fitting though. They really do have the capability
To do that kind of damage. Trick is, harnessing that potential for the right situation
Right. I used to be terrified of dogs because that movie. I finally knew that not all dogs are like that and you just have to train them to not be that way

Like horror movies, even horror series are hard to pinpoint for me as a favorite lol. Definitely like the evil dead series. Nightmare on elm street were my jam when I was younger. I also liked the howling series. Love the texas chainsaw serries(originals) And being huge zombie genre fan, the '...of the dead' series. and the list goes on and on lol

Have you seen the movie Train to Busan?? And the “.. of the dead” series are classics!

Not really for the horror aspects, but the Saw series is a favorite of mine. It's more like cathartic: evil people die horribly, in gruesome ways. Though I admit it got incredibly dumb as the series went on.

As much as I hate rotties being the bad guy.
Cujo was one of my favorites.

Except Cujo was a St. Bernard in both the book, and the movie version I saw. (Has there been a new remake I haven't heard of yet?)

The only place I can recall a rottie in any of King's books, or the movies they were turned into, was a *VERY* short glimpse of one in the first version of "IT" - during the scene in the nuthouse where Pennywise appeared as a rottie in a clown-suit to the guard, who had what was described in the book as "A childhood trauma" about them.

i could be wrong. It’s been a long time and I’m sure they made remakes of the movie.

Alien and the thing, I know the thing isn't really a series but damn it's such a good horror movie
That's the issue, are we including scifi into the mix because like you said Alien was scary as fuck(at the time i saw it when i was younger) and it's more a scifi series. IMO And yea even though Thing is not series but it is a damn good movie

Aliens - The first sequel I ever saw that made the original it was following after seem like a sweet little bedtime story by comparison. Game over, man!

The original Terminator - Even when the credits finished, I kept expecting the damned thing to get up and keep coming!
T2 was in the same category as Aliens - Even better (and badder - in the best possible way) than the first. But we won't bother to discuss the terminator series beyond #2 though, will we? Those were all just a bad dream - nothing more. Nobody actually allowed those pathetic abortions to be made, so it's safe to come out from under the blankets now.

Watch the devils rejects. Wicked shit in there.

Rob Zombie is pretty twisted for sure (in a good way). As a standalone, Devil's Rejects is great but what I dont like is that it took away the mystery of House of 1,000 Corpses. Made the characters a bit less creepy seeing them on the run.

The Thing!

Before I give a like, Which one?

As far as series go, Childs Play. Even the shit comedy ones.
Individual movies, Us. The girl with all the gifts. Though I guess that's less horror and more good movie. There is a Last of Us vibe but the story stands on it's own.
