I've been getting myself hyped for Halloween and watching a horror movies on prime and netflix. Lately I've watched the descent, the cave, the void, hereditary, some of the conjuring series.

I didn't mind The Watchers and Longlegs as a passive watch. Glad I didn't see them in theatres but they were different enough to be enjoyable

One of the rare movies that I thought Nicholas Cage actually was a great fit. Glad I watched it, curious what your thoughts are when you see it

top of my head there's The Ritual on netflix, mythological horror
i love it a lot, especially that if you're attentive you can see the monster hiding all during the movie

Horror movies are my jam. I liked them ever since I was a kid (64 now .) I’ve been at it so long, it’s VERY difficult for me to find really good ones (which is very subjective, I know.) Mostly everything that can be done has been. Very few surprises out there. Also, I don’t put gore in the same category as horror. I don’t watch slasher type movies.

I saw 2 two weeks ago. Watch it free on streaming…I’m sorry I paid to see it. It was ok. Best I can say about it.

Ready or not is a fun gory movie, not really the AHHHH I'M SCARED type of movie, but it's pretty good.

I’ve heard the terrified movies especially the last one is mostly just a gore fest. Not much of any suspense and just meant to try and make you puke. I never even heard of the movies before till someone told me they saw the third one in theaters recently and that thought it was so-so.
