Same reason people post crap where it shouldnt be. Often it's a rape murder, sometimes a rape that pushes them into "the Life" because they think they're responsible. They aren't, of course, but victims are often damaged in ways the shrinks are only just beginning to make a stab at solving.
There's also poverty driving it. Offer a girl with nothing what seems like big money and they may be easily lured away from whatever protection a family offers. Predators are not as easy to spot today. They're well camouflaged.

Yeah, I know. Its the young ones that are vulnerable. The older women are usually wise to it, but kids just wont be told some things. Its grtting a little notice...."Flower Moon" should have made a better splash than it did, and same with Jeremy Renner's movie, "Winter Kills" Both addressed this although "Flower Moon" takes place a hundred years ago. Great Read, too.
