Separate MTF & FTM Categories

I would like to have separate sections the Trans and animals forum. One for FtM, MtF and non binary users/posters instead of being lumped into one. If its possible, I want these sections to be for trans people and not cross dressers or fetishists

It used to be structured that way a few years ago. Not sure why they made the change, but there were very few entries in some categories versus others. Maybe they found navigation easier over all with consolidated categories.

A lot of trans stuff ends up in the non trans categories because people including me can not tell or do not care. I mostly do not care at all. Nor do I watch that kind of porn aside of abuse porn reviews.
Is that also wrong or is it something you actually want because you are seen as your desired gender when it is posted in for example women with animals while being trans?

I do get the want to separate the FtM and MtF classifications into their own separate categories, however doing so would not only require having to figure out the 99 threads/5,200 messages in that forum category already, it would also likely cause a spike in reports to that forum section due to people posting content into the wrong sections. A lot of people likely don't know what the terms mean, and tend to post before they think because their "thinking" is not coming from the head atop their shoulders. We have enough issues with people that accidentally post content into the wrong section, as it is, in other porn categories but also including that one as well.
I can definitely see the want though, and really I wouldn't mind separating them, if it weren't for the fact that doing so would likely cause an additional workload via reports and be a giant headache to try and sort out.

One thing that could be done is making a prefix for the categories. So users can select what the content is for. No addons are needed, just a simple premix to create for the category. I could also suggest tags, but I know how that went last time.

That's maybe an option, and I believe I can make prefixes mandatory, although people would likely still get them wrong causing additional reports. I know I wouldn't want to go through all the videos in that section and add the appropriate prefix either. However, if someone wants to volunteer I could think on it. However the additional workload may not be that much worth it.

I wouldn't have had a problem with it. That last portion of your reply is why it was deleted. This is a poll OUTSIDE of the dumpster fire. Stop trying to drag the dumpster fire into it just because the subject matter is considered a "hot topic" to some people. A question was asked about separating the two categories, and we don't need people chiming in with "y'all fake" because it's absolutely unneeded in the discussion and does nothing but stir shit.
I'm potentially stopping this thread from becoming a dumpster fire because of your actions, and there's a good chance I'll wipe this conversation here when it's no longer needed. I've said multiple times that if you want to talk shit about trans people, do so in the DF. There's pretty much no filter in that section. But if you talk shit for the sake of talking shit outside of the DF it's getting deleted as a minimum if I encounter it, or it gets reported. If I can prevent this thread from becoming DF material, I'll do what needs to be done. Even if that means removing one of your posts because it's rude and uncalled for. I didn't give you a warning strike for it, and I haven't given you one yet. I know you don't like trans people expressing themselves, but you're going to have to live with the fact that expressive trans people exist and a certain % of them are zoos simply living life.

I would say that a separate category is beneficial on the grounds that it's useful for keeping things in a place where people who want to see that can see that, and (something that you might appreciate even more) keeping things you'd prefer not to see in a different area. Thus, someone who looks for ladies doesn't find ladyboys along with them. Along those lines, further classification within the category would be helpful for those who do like that, such as a button tagging the post as "FTM", "MTF", or "Super duper confused" or whatever.

Separating the category is a good idea. The implementation will be difficult because they have to sort the videos.

I think they should be distinguished. I dont know why they arent already? The non-zoo section is male, female, and trans.......it's not just all lumped in one big "non-zoo" mess, presumably so you dont have to see shit you dont want to see, right?

I've already mostly been avoiding that section because I too frequently see trans posts in the female section....some of those posts get moved, some of them dont. I dont really understand the logic of that idea, but, whatever.
To my thinking, that entire section of the site, it stops being a 'social' site and becomes a 'sexual' site, otherwise, why seperate male and female? That seems to recognize, at least passively, that the section is sexual in nature and not a social statement.
As such, the different trans varieties should also be seperated in the same way.
As it is, it does feel like there is some sort of disconnect in the way its laid out. Like the site is attempting to play both sides of the street.

That's the ONLY reason I'm as tolerant of it as I am. Were that garbage strewn around the whole place, I'd have likely lost what little civility I have quite a while ago. While tolerating it at all around here grates on my last nerve, "out of sight, out of mind" at least means I don't have to look at it every time I turn around.

I've gone ahead and added prefixes to both categories. When creating a thread in the trans porn category you'll be required to select "MtF" or "FtM" moving forward. (There's an option for Both/All in the non-zoo section for megathreads.)
