I don't think it's good that I can wget direct links to videos without passing credentials

I'm getting forbidden when trying in the gif thread. Is there a certain section this is happening?

Nvm, different path for videos and images. I'll pass this on

Why does it matter? The videos aren't really protected and I certainly like the ability to easily archive the things I enjoy.

From what I gathered its not too much of an issue. Could just be since its a separate storage area than the images it doesn't get the protection through the forum such as the attachments area.
